Part of the up-and-coming downtown Franklinton area, the building itself has been around for decades… but with a different purpose: the town jailhouse!
Recently renovated, but maintaining the integrity of the building’s past, the Slammer is a spot where you’ll find it all: history, atmosphere, service, and creatively selected libations..

Hi! We’re Jim and Ashley, owners of the Slammer. We never pictured ourselves as bar owners, but when the opportunity arose to create a place of not only historic significance, but a place to build community, we jumped. As parents who like to have a good time, we know the importance of finding an establishment that not only fits our needs for a unique, fun atmosphere, but also is inviting to our daughter. The Slammer fits all of those needs, and we are eager to become part of the Franklinton community and serve ya’ll with an unforgettable experience!
